COVID 19 - Alert Level 2 FAQs
By nature, our environment requires extremely high standards of hygiene and we will continue to deliver these standards just as we always have. We are confident when you visit you will be safe in our little bubble of goodness and we will ensure your experience with us is not impacted. We want to make sure your time with us is relaxing and calming as it always has been. You will see a few extra things such as face masks, and we might ask you to reconfirm your personal details for contacting tracing, or wait outside if our reception area is full, but all in all the team have worked hard to ensure your visit looks and feels the same as it did before.
We have a 3 step process to ensure no one enters our spa if they pose any risk of Covid-19.
1. When the initial booking is made via phone or online the following questions are asked:
• Are you currently unwell, or been in close contact with someone who is?
• Have you recently returned from overseas or been in close contact with someone who has?
If the answer is yes to either of the above, the appointment is postponed.
2. 2 Days prior to appointment a reminder text is sent which requests that the appointment be postponed if unwell
3. On arrival for an appointment, we will again ask the same questions and re-schedule as necessary
Masks - When any of the team is within 1 meter from another person they will be wearing a mask. This means for ALL treatments your therapist will be wearing a mask. Our receptionist is not required to wear a mask as their duties can be carried out 1 meter from other people.
Gloves – By nature wearing gloves is a requirement for a large majority of treatments we offer and this will continue for manicures and pedicures, waxing, eye lash and brow tinting. For facials and massage, we are not required to wear gloves, however, as we normally would, correct hand washing takes place here before, during and after the treatment.
Yes, in reception we would like all guests to wear a mask however your mask will be removed in the treatment room. If you are having a treatment that requires access to the mouth area the mask will need to be removed so please consider this when you are making your appointment.
Yes, we had a regular deep cleaning roster prior to Covid-19 and this will be increased. Prior to Covid-19 our laundry was taken off site for washing and this will continue.
We have a QR sign at the front door entrace and every guest will need to sign in before entering. We also have a robust Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which enables us to record client details and manage our bookings. We will continue to use this and for those people who walk in to buy product or vouchers, we have set up a manual process to collect their details. We are confident we will be able to trace contact should the need arise.
Yes, it will be mandatory for all guests to sanitise their hands on arrival before they go past the reception desk. We understand this might feel a little strange, however we want to make sure anyone going beyond our entrance has been sanitised, this will make us all feel safe and allow you to be confident those who are entering our spa have also sanitised their hands.
We require everyone who visits our spa to remain 1 meter apart from others at all times and respect the space of those around them. We have taken the 1 meter advice from the Covid19 Government website which states physical distancing of 1 meter between customers. It is not 2 meters because we have a robust contact tracing system in place. You can be within 1 meter from your therapist as they will be wearing a mask. Again, we understand this may feel a little strange but our friendly team are here to guide you on the new way, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your time with us.
Our friendly team will help all guests when they arrive to make sure the reception area is not crowded. We will only have 4 guests seated in reception at one time, if you are asked to wait outside/in your car before your appointment please don’t be offended we are simply doing this to keep you and our community safe.
No, you are required to come to your treatment alone.
Yes absolutely, what would an Invive experience be without finishing with our famous freshly made smoothie and tea. As always, we will remove tea trays from reception area without delay and ensure they are thoroughly cleaned with detergent and hot water.
We do have friendly team members to help you navigate your safety when in the spa, however we ask that every guest takes responsibility for personal hygiene and respects the space of others. That means sanitising hands on arrival, covering coughs and sneezes in a tissue or elbow, keeping 1m from the nearest person and staying home if you are unwell.
Yes. We will treat our couples massage just like we would any other treatment. A mask will be worn by both therapists, and we will follow our hygiene and cleaning protocols as we would do for any treatment.
Our preference is Eftpos or Credit card to minimise contact, however we do have a process in place to receive cash if that's your preferred method of payment
Yes absolutely. You know your health situation better than anyone, so we encourage you to use your own judgement here. We have made every effort to make sure our health and hygiene standards are extremely high. For an extra layer of reassurance feel free to contact the team prior to your appointment and make them aware.
